I'm a man, see, and a man isn't ever afraid to do what a man needs to do. An' right now, I guess that's settling on in at the Weyr. Sure, my folks said it ain't no place for my little sister 'cause she's gotta be raised proper and my older brother's got himself a Hall and knot to look after... but me? I get Telgar Weyr. Guess it could be worse, with Thread falling when it ain't suppose to be... but it sure ain't pleasant with all the weird folks they got here. I've already got enough horror stories to last me a life time (thanks so much mum and dad), but y'know what? I can deal.
